Uploaded this one for dini :o)
Went hiking on Sunday morning in a place called Búrfellsgjá. It's a walk along a wide lava channel that was made by a lava flow from the cinder cone Búrfell. This place is a geologists dream ;o)
This is the view from the cinder cone, down along the lava channel..
UPDATE: Thanks to Hafdís for providing me with the right names of things, i.e. Búfell is a cinder cone and Búrfellsgjá is a lava channel. The lava is 8000 years old!

Hehe... guilty as charged! I used the Canon. But I'm thinking about giving my little Oly a chance again soon, I kind of miss it :o)
