Went out tonight and down to the sea... and I had loaned a camera from work on a very short notice. Well, everything that could go wrong, went wrong... (almost) ;o)
I didn't know how to work the buttons properly so I took one test shot without focusing properly just to try out the exposure time (holding the button down with my finger because I had no remote button, trying not to laugh... or breathe!), forgot to check the focal lenght in the dark... and then the battery went dead! I had been in such a hurry that I had forgotten to charge it :o)
I tried to salvage this one test shot... and this is it, for better or for worse, blurry horizon, overexposed lights and all! I decided to post it anyway out of pure frustration of having no new photos :o)
And then it started to rain... but it was a great trip! Loved it! :D

So how do you know 'Murphy's Law then..? ;-)
Does the idea translate..?
What does it look like in your language..?
(I've just been on telly! I'm in second part of clip dealing with a head inj - uk.youtube.com/watch?v=e33FKhzKbHw)

I think Murphy's Law is a universally known concept... isn't it? I don't know if the young people here in Iceland would recognize it though... but I sure do ;o) And if you translate it to Icelandic:
Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong! = Allt sem getur farið úrskeiðis, fer úrskeiðis!
Wow, this telly clip is great, you're totally the main man there!! :D Great to see you in action, and I can see that you really have to be in great condition to be ready to deal with all sorts of things in your job!

Did you like the Canon (for the short while it was working?!?!? :-D )
When I first saw this one I thought it was an ND shot, but finding out it wasn't doesn't change things - it worked out very well :-) !!
Pixiepro replies:
Thank you Nigel and you're right... no ND here, just pitch black winter darkness ;o)
