Deep Water 


Went photoshooting last night with the girls... Ragga, Gurrý and Sigrún (sigjoi) :o)

This is lake Djúpavatn (Deep Water lake).

Sigrún and I got to try Ragga's "extra special Icelandic summer night filter" ;o) and oh boy, oh boy, what a difference that made! This is my result :o) I'll be posting my normal filterless photos later on :D

Hehe... tók einmitt aðra svona og hún kom líka flott út. En hinar voru svona lala... maður getur kannski unnið eina eða tvær eitthvað, en þær jafnast ekkert á við svona long exposure myndir :D

Takk Oddur :o) Það verður sérstaklega spennandi að sjá hvað kemur úr vélinni hennar Röggu, en ég held að því miður hafi Gurrý ekki tekið mynd með filter :o( En svo póstum við nú kannski einhverju af "hinum" myndunum sem við tókum ;o)

It's a 10-stop ND filter and it's great fun using it yes :o) You can go up to several minutes exposure in daylight and get smooth water and the movement of the clouds... brilliant and fun! Thank you Michael :o)

Takk kærlega Guðrún, ég held ég fjárfesti nú bara í filter... það er ótrúlega erfitt að halda of stórum filter fyrir framan linsuna í heila mínútu án þess að hrista vélina ;o)

Ragga ætlaði að kaupa svona filter í Bandaríkjunum, en þeir selja víst ekki dekkri en 6 stop... segja að það þurfi enginn á meiru að halda! :D

Haha... yes, there are Trolls lurking about everywhere in the Icelandic landscape, sometimes they've frozen in the daylight and you can catch them on a photo. Thank you Nigel :o)
