Begging Coyote
This coyote was waiting beside the road for handouts. It was still there when we passed by later.. Joshua Tree National Park, California Scanned 35mm negative. (sd13-004)

First time I saw a coyote begging was in Death Valley in Sept 2001; and now they're all along the highways there. People are obviously paying no attention to the "don't feed the coyotes" signs! What's really bad is when the coyotes used to handouts wander outside the park and get shot.
