We had wild blackberries at the edge of our yard in one of the places I lived when I was a kid. My mom would send me out to collect them, and then she'd make a cobbler. That's one of my favorite memories.

They rapidly take over the world here. Mostly I don't find them to be particularly sweet and I am not a fan of their seeds, so I have never harvested any, but perhaps I will give them a try this fall..
