This building is on a farm where my father was born and was likely built by my grandfather. I believe it has now been torn down. Lake County, Illinois. Scanned 35mm negative. (2W002)

Thanks! Yes, Lake County has pretty much lost most of its rural character. I was born and raised in Waukegan, but moved away many years ago. My sister still lives there so I go back frequently. Wound up in Atlanta, where I retired. Couldn't stand the rat race it had become so moved to beautiful tranquil Northeast Alabama where I live on a lovely piece of land in the middle of the woods bordered by two creeks.
