I agree, we do sense the start of dusk and the cooling that goes with it, there's a classical perspective , a repetition of red lacquered tables, some faintly bored people, the man over the line, pink façades of an earlier age than the plastic café — and there is kinship with a Frankfurt view seen by this photographer, not surprisingly.
And it's fun to create a bridge between Frankfurt now and Côte d'Azur six months before, a bridge between seasons and experiences.
