Thanks, John.
I usually fire off a number of shots as the wave arrives. This one had a bit of the splash, but also had the roller-effect behind it. Having another line of waves set beyond it adds to the effect.

Thanks, John. What a contrast to the Ouse estuary on the other side of Seaford! There's not even a road to Cuckmere Haven. The old coastguard cottages have a track, but I bet it gets slippery when its raining. The Ouse exits through Newhaven Harbour, with its scrapyards, ferry port, fishing jetties and marina.

Thanks, Jaap. This is the first time that I had been at that location when the tide was high and so I hadn't previously seen the waves in between the old wooden breakwaters. They make a more attractive picture.
