I haven't been back since I took this photo - www.ipernity.com/doc/364457/26372805 - so I don't know the current condition of these faces.
I am not sure why I am being invited to add this to the Living with MS group. I don't have MS, although a daughter-in-law has and I used to work in disability services, way back! If you feel that it is relevant to the group that's fine, I can add it.
Thinking about it, Southwark Council's Disability Services was once based in this building!

Your interest prompted me to see how far the Council had got with rebuilding this fire-damaged building. They have a very ambitious plan to rebuild it, retaining as much of the old structure as possible but putting in a new central core and adding additional floors. There is a 12-page pdf consultation document available at consultations.southwark.gov.uk/planning-and-regeneration/walworth-town-hall-and-newington-library-stage-two/supporting_documents/151124%20Walworth%20Public%20Consultation%20%20ALL.pdf
although you will have to get your magnifying glass out or print it out on A3 sheets.
