World's Best Bass Player (imho), T. M. Stevens, with his "Baby", the "Funk Machine". Do you remember the bass intro of "Unchain my heart" from Joe Cocker? It's T.M. Stevens. I saw him the first time in 1988 (?) with Joe Cocker in Dresden. -
