Oh, I managed to keep my own subtlety because I'm a romantic person, most romantic people are subtle because being brash and romantic doesn't usually mix. But lucky you, I also have a very unromantic side to myselves, so if you want to know what most humans are full of - they are full of shit. Now that should be obvious!!

Yes, I had a feeling that this is the core of your problem. Well, it affects men and women differently, but I know what you're talking about. And this is really not something I would like to discuss here because it means dragging other people into this conversation and despite the saying that "revenge is sweet", I don't feel that it would be fair - for many different reasons, one of them being that few people hurt others with full intention, more often they do it because they didn't learn any other way of acting/reacting. All I can say is that of course growing up is a little easier when you can do it under the "correct" (not a good word here, but I think you know what I mean) parental guidance right from the start, but of course, you can still find yourself at any point in life even if it's more difficult, but it's not impossible if you really want to and feel it's worth going through the difficulties to be the real you - instead of being lost in space :-)) And part of that process is accepting that parents are not perfect and that you can therefore, without being disrespectful and very responsibly, throw certain things they (well-meaningly and more or less lovingly) taught you into the trash because if you truly like your life, and who you are, you can give a shit if they approve or not :-) And believe me, it's very easy to like oneself if you don't care about approval :-))) In which case we're back at the saying that first and foremost you are responsible for your own life and your own well-being...it sounds like propagating selfishness, but that's exactly not what it is. Since you're an intelligent person, I'm sure you understand that :-)
(Now you see, why I have this awful reputation as a therapist? LOL. So forget what I wrote and just admire my beautiful eyes instead, hahahahaha).

I didn't say I needed a real man "to deliver" me, don't look at things in such an "either/or" way. But I'm also not ashamed to say that I would like to have a "real life" partner and not just this online blabbing, excuse me: "interaction" with people here and there. Trust me, I can manage very well on my own, I have done so for many years, and because I know this that's why I am not afraid of a relationship because I'm exactly not viewing it as something to make me feel better about myself, or to fulfill some neediness of dependence. So is a wish for a loving companion needy or dependent? I don't think so. If it is seen that way, then it is just another slanted viewpoint, dragging down human nature - well, anything can be dragged into the dirt, but I'm fiercely fighting for the positive sides, long live the revolution!!! :-DDD

As I said, I do not believe in organized relgions because they were organized by people. LOL. But I do accept the wisdom of all religions (yes, they do have their wisdom, if you look beyond the propaganda and manipulation), there's nothing wrong with that. Ultimately (again looking beyond all the manipulation and petty stuff) all religions have the same goal, so why follow this classification that one religions is better or "more right" than another? This way of thinking is the complete opposite of "religion", it's human stupidity.
