SPRING ..
- a brisk 51 deg is chilly
and your photo objects don't hold still
all blurs are courtesy of Mother Nature !
6 PiP
1- Pink Dogwood
2- White Dogwood against blue canvas sky
3- Pink Dogwood and blue NC sky
4- OOPs - Surprise Blue bells - that area was tilled and most things removed
5- Close up of a defiant flower! Our Gent who saw these return said "you have families in there"
6- White Lilac
Re: the tilling wasn't done by our present Gent; he went in behind the ones who tilled the area and dug things up by hand. Told us, "can't guarantee more won't return. No idea how much was planted before you bought this home .. will have to see." JT is a neat guy and takes pride in his work. If it isn't correct, he fixes it - we don't need to say anything.
My kind of people!

THE JANE MAGNOLIA LIVES JUST NEXT DOOR
Is there -
I've not made all the things possible from this little bit of sunshine but can say Dandelion Wine is quite good.
Young leaves in salads - also good. (Don't tell anyone what they are.)
Though many consider this a 'weed' it gets the bees started pollinating.
A weed is something one doesn't plant - so guess this is one out front as we didn't plant it. Yet, I love to see their bright faces in Spring!

Cloudless Sulpher
Cloudless Sulpher {Phoebis sennae} - often called a Common Sulpher --
Kaufman's Field Guide states "flight is often strong and rapid -
So true !
Had to wait quite awhile for it to settle long enough to get off some shots -
Worth it, though !
