cold milling ..
our street - 2014
before being paved -

this machine is over 28 tons -
the smoke/dust is from removing the old surface -
have no idea how many people or machines went up and down -
they certainly had a job for all -

if you look at the 'arm' carrying the old surface material -
to the truck ahead -
that arm can be folded in half for transport on a flatbead -
it was quite interesting -
took photos from inside -

Thank you both very much --- it was noisy, but our home is insulated so well that we didn't hear much of it. Having to detour around the paved areas was the biggest hassle ... they are done -- don't need it again for quite awhile ~
