Eigentlich wollte ich in diesem Bild nur den Kontrast zwischen klassisch und neu zeigen, den man oft in Antwerpen findet. Links ein altes Herrenhaus, rechts ein neuer Wolkenkratzer, beide in derselben Straße. Der Titel Art et nouveau ist ein französisches Wortspiel, das sich leider gar nicht übersetzen lässt.

Aber du kannst ja noch sagen, dass Art nouveau (neue Kunst) ein fester Begriff ist (=Jugendstil).
Und "Art et nouveau" heißt "Kunst und neu", was dann wiederum sagt, dass das eine architektonische Kunst ist und das andere ... (Hat mir Paul so erklärt.)
