Common Carder Bee

Common Carder Bee
The common carder bee, (Bombus pascuorum), can be seen from the spring until late in the year, often into November in southern Britain. It is one of our most common bumblebee species. This one was working on a perennial wallflower in my garden.

I'm currently enjoying our nice spell of sunny weather here in the UK. We've not had weather like this for several years! :)
