Mistaya Canyon 

Not the most famous place in the Banff National Park, but I liked it very much. It was very easy to get to the river, there was no photo platform around and no fences.
The parking lot is some hundred meters from the canyon, so it's very likely that you don't see the usual busloads of tourists. A good place to relax by the river...
