Suddenly ... 

... a white-tailed deer crosses the road! Luckily this is Cades Cove, where everyone drives VERY slow and expects animals in or near the road at any time ...

The deer didn't seem to mind the cars at all. Again I was reminded that Cades Cove is a truly magical place, with peaceful co-existence of animals and humans!
