Making soap 

The boiling soap has to be stirred just like applebutter, and everything required a hot fire, on an already hot day!

But I think soap doesn't taste as good as applebutter or sorghum molasses, tho ;-)

Auch die aus Fett und Asche hergestellte Seife muss waehrend des Kochens staendig geruehrt werden, damit sie nicht klumpt.

Aber ich glaube nicht, dass die Seife so gut schmeckt wie Apfelmarmelade oder Zuckerrohrsirup! ;-)
