Hurricane Katrina, Sunday night

Hurricane Katrina, Sunday night
5 hours later. Still getting bigger - the extremely well defined eye is 30 miles in diameter by now, the whole storm is as big as the Gulf of Mexico. People on the northern gulf coast are already getting hurricane strength winds. The storm moves at 10 mph.

This is the current satellite image from the NOAA website, as of Sunday, August 28, 9pm EDT.
