It looks pretty darn good too me although I have no idea what it is.

I guess mom was lucky we didn't have anything like that around here, she handled the snakes, frogs, and salamanders she dug out of my pockets okay but a flying hairy crawdad thing probably would have gotten me grounded for my entire childhood.

When I read you article on that i laughed out loud.... it had that oh so familiar ring to it.

For me.. it was rocks (lol... still is).. for that I believe my Mum was truely grateful !!

There was of course the frog spawn... ahhh yes... the frog spawn............ and the furry caterpillars........

Good shot Pam! I think they are called Humming Bird Moths. We have them here in east Tennessee. Not easy to get a good shot of. They're pretty fast.
