Five Lined Skink 12 feet up on the tree stumps

Five Lined Skink 12 feet up on the tree stumps
I saw movement and there he was. I had to zoom in best I could and hold the camera above my head !

These "stumps" are about 14 feet high and the bark is separating from the trunk.... its a perfect stalking ground for prey for him.

Ronald Losure, ColRam, Dick Stewart, Janet Brien have particularly liked this photo

Excellent shot
Great to have those in the garden, they search all the nooks and crannies and rid them of nasty bugs without that aid of chemicals we quit being able to pronounce long ago.

Thankyou Cobalt. !

I love them... they are like quicksilver though.. just a flash of blue and thats it normally ! I saw a couple of youngsters the other day and that heartens me that they are breeding here.
