this woord gezellig is a funny thing. if I translate it, it means "gemütlich" and "gesellig" (von Gesellschaft) as well. ... seems that for dutch people you have to be in company to have it nice. not too bad, imho. :-)

that's really fine ... and I've found something new: natafelen.

we don't have a word for that, must be something like "nachtafeln" ... something I can imagine and I like it. ... hm, I remember those days, when my mother-in-law was still alive. I used to have lunch with her during the week (she did the cooking) and afterwards we had a coffee and talked. yes, those were the days ... with natafelen. :-).

Maar Mona, even iets anders .......heb jij gezien dat er weer een illegaal in ons kippenhok zit. Zullen we dat op deze manier aanpakken of misschien is wat grover geschut nodig.

well, this duck thing needs thought. ... I saw it (of course) in our henhouse, but [op]drie is a clever guy and so I thought, there might be a reason for sending it.
my impressions are:
1. it's a carnival costume ... and there's a kip underneath the dress.
2. this chicken is confused. born in the 60s (flower power time) it smoked too much marihuana (in a coffee shop) and now it tries to get back to normal ... finally.

I like the pic, and so I left it where I found it ... waiting what will happen. .-))

hm, maybe it's a good idea to invite it to the weekend wonders. a wonder might help? :-)))

there is a henhouse in this picture and it's obvious that this hen has serious problems ... it has something to do with a smelly kabouter with glasses and a grey beard, speaking a strange language....
