Kan het toch niet laten en moet even reageren hierop. IanAbroad heeft n.l. gelijk. Dit is geen dike. Dit is "Dune". Dit is een vergeefse poging van een Hollandse boer om met zijn ploeg orde te scheppen in de woestijn, niet wetende dat de zandwormen al onderweg zijn. Dit is het jaar 10.191............
(Frank Herbert, stukgelezen in de jaren 80, verfilmd in 84 door David (Twin Peaks) Lynch. Herlezen met zoon n.a.v. de computerspellen Dune (en 2 en 2000 en .....)) Zucht! Goeie ouwe tijd?

Nooit van het boek gehoord, maar leuk verhaal, wel iets van de film gezien, denk ik, kan me zandwormen herinneren ... ben niet zo van de SF
Goed het zou een woestijnduin kunnen zijn, maar dit is voor mij een echte duin:

Nooit van gehoord??? Hoe is het mogelijk! Onder welke steen kom jij vandaan? Is niet één boek, maar 6 delen. Ik ben ook niet van de SF, maar Dune is anders. Zal eens gaan zoeken naar een afbeelding die je kan overtuigen van ons (Dunedenkers) gelijk.
