Wealth is heavy to carry - Palamedu

Wealth is heavy to carry - Palamedu
Next to the Jallikatu in Palamdu there is a tiny village, so clean and the people there are so friendly: immediatly we were invited for dinner but we sticked to a tea. The old lady of the house, wearing her heavy golden earings, thandethi, was suddenly looking in to the streat as a bull was running through the village. Even here it was not safe but lucky the bull passed by, we were no threath to the bull, denying us.

Thandatti is an ear ornament worn by ladies along with pAmbadam, mudichchu, mElidu, this is made of thin gold plates filled with wax. Rich old ladies wear five types of ornaments resembling a fruit bunch.
