Wenn auf den Bahnen mit schmaler Spur Veranstaltungen stattfinden, sind oft auch historische Straßenfahrzeuge mit von der Partie. Zu Ostern im Jahre 2003 war dieser Bus bei der Weißeritztalbahn in Dippoldiswalde begehrtes Fotoobjekt! Auf der Weißeritztalbahn fanden Ostern 2003 Fahrten zwischen Dippoldiswalde und Seifersdorf statt, dieser Streckenabschnitt war von der Hochwasserkatastrophe im August 2002 nicht betroffen.
Zum Bus: Es ist ein H6B/L (L steht für Landausführung) Gebaut wurde er 1959 in Werdau.

Nein, ein Setra ist das nicht. Setra kommt von "Selbsttragend", und wurde von Kässbohrer in Ulm hergestellt. Irgendwann wurde Kässbohrer dann an Daimler verkauft. (das war noch eigenes Wissen...)
Der H6 wurde von den VEB Kraftfahrzeugwerken „Ernst Grube“, Werdau, gebaut. Bei Wikipedia steht: "Der Bus erhielt im VEB Kraftfahrzeugwerk „Ernst Grube“ zunächst die Typenbezeichnung W 501, wobei das „W“ für Werdau steht. Später hieß er dann in Anlehnung an den Lkw H6, auf dem er basiert, die Bezeichnung H6B: ‚H‘orch, ‚6‘ t Nutzlast, ‚B‘us."

Ich mag diesen alten Technikkram!

Ich hoffe, er kommt dieses Jahr wieder dorthin, wo er gebaut wurde - nach Werdau zum 11. IFA-Oldtimertreffen, dem größten seiner Art - mit im vorigen Jahr 20.000 Besuchern: Fotos von 2007.
