Maria Lind
My daughter, Maria Lind, and I went hiking yesterday, looking for something beautiful to take pictures of. She was the prettiest thing I saw in the whole trip :-) -
My daughter's shoes
When my daughter comes home, she usually leaves her shoes in the middle of the floor. Sometimes I get irritated, but this time I saw a photo-opportunity. I put this picture in a frame and gave my daughter, she liked it, but still leaves her shoes in the… -
Need a haircut?
I was browsing through my photos and noticed that I had some photos of horses. I like that one :o) -
Nice pose
It is quite easy to get Icelandic horses to pose for you. They are so curious, they usually want to come and check you out :o) -
Colored glass
The look from my car a few days ago. Lovely weather and full moon, but my windshield had some dirt spots :o) The sun is shining on the mountain tops and the next time the sky will be clear the sun will shine on the town after a dark winter.... yyyeeeesss… -
My first try...
... to capture the Northern Lights with my new camera. As soon as I got out it started to get cloudy, but I got this tiny line in one of my pictures. I also need a remote trigger so I can take longer exposures. I'll keep on trying and won't quit until… -

Charging the batteries
Another photo from Hamarsfjordur. We had to go and get fresh batteries to finish the survey and used the time to get some hot cocoa too. Hot cocoa has never tasted so good :o) -
Wide angle sideways...
makes you thin :o) A boat I saw in Reykjavik last night. Looked so ugly I had to take a picture... -
Sign of the times
I saw this old jeep in Holmavik when I was driving home from after a surveying tour a while ago. Had to stop and take a picture, it looked so great :o) -
Sunbathing in Iceland
If you want to go sunbathing out in the Icelandic nature, you'd better have a warm overall and a rock to hold you down so you don't get blown away :o) -
Don't squeeze!!!
Those two young Ptarmigans got separated from the rest when a whole family was crossing a gravel road in front of us. We got out, caught them and took pictures while the mother waited eagerly for them to return. As soon as they got free, they ran toward… -
Some days...
... are harder than others at work. Those low branches start tangling right at the ground and make it very difficult to walk through. The shoelaces get caught in them as well as the cables from the equipment... and your hands... and your legs :o) After…
