Nice view
If you need to exercise a bit because of all the cakes and steaks you ate over Christmas, then the best place to be is Ísafjörður. You can walk/run/climb up the hills around the town and get rewarded with a beautiful view like this :-) -

My favorite building
This house is my favorite building in Isafjordur. It was once a hospital, but now it is a library. I find it a very beautiful building and I was lucky to get a picture when all the lights were on :o) -

An evening stroll...
It was great to take a walk in the evenings when it was not quite as hot as during the days. It went up to 44°C some days and in the evenings it was "only" 20°C, a lot warmer than the warmest summer days here in Isafjordur :o) -
Oasis Dunas
A picture I took in the hotel yard one night. I didn't have a tripod so I had to put the camera on a table close to the pool. They don't have much fresh water there so the swimming pools were with sea.... and I can't believe how cold the pools are abroad… -
Blue Moon
I went out last night because the weather was so beautiful. The moon was so bright that it lit up all the mountains and I had to try to take some pictures :o) -
A Police Story...
When I was taking this picture, a car drove by. Few seconds later another car followed, it was the police and they turned on the lights on top to stop the other car. That explains the blue lights on the right and the red dot where the cars stopped :o) U… -
The fish shed...
Another picture from the same place. This shed is used for drying fish, "harðfiskur" in Icelandic, very delicious and I love it with some salt and butter :o) -
Colors and reflection
Another photo I took few nights ago when I was trying to capture the northern lights. I like this place, it is only a few minutes drive from my home and the scenery is really great on nights like this :o)
