No sunshine anymore in Iceland? ;-)
Wonderful shot!
Could you please tell me, what means "flott" in english?

Oddur Jonsson pro replies:
Thank you Jule. We don't see much of the sun any longer here in the Westfjords, and soon we won't see it at all for about three months :-(
Flott means beautiful :-)

Takk :-) Isn´t it a problem, when you don´t see the sun for months?

Oddur Jonsson pro replies:
Well, it gets a little bright for a few hours each day, we just don't get to see the sun. It can get a bit depressing but then again, we light the Christmas lights early and leave them on during the darkest period :-)

I remember, it was "a little bit dark" when I was in Iceland this summer... if we got a bad winter here, we got no sun for two months, only fog. But we can always go to the next mountain and see the light. How long is your dark period?

Oddur Jonsson pro replies:
Maybe two and a half months in November, December and January. We get to see the sunlight on the mountain tops for a longer time, but the sun doesn't shine on the town (Isafjordur) for that time. At the end of January when the sun starts to shine on Sólgata (Sunstreet), we have a little selebration and everybody gets pancakes and whipped cream :-)
