The Tower House


This is one of the oldest houses in Isafjordur, now a part of a museum.

Takk Íris. Jú það passar, þetta er turnhúsið, hef lengi ætlað að taka mynd og eftir að ég fékk mér gleiðlinsu var komið ekkert því til fyrirstöðu :o)

Nýja myndavélin er s.s. alveg að gera sig. Nú getur þú byrjað uppá nýtt í leit að skemmtilegu myndefni. ;-)

Nýja vélin er flott en það var 10-20 mm gleiðlinsan sem breytti mjög miklu, hef varla tekið hana af síðan ég fékk hana og hún eykur möguleikana á myndefni umtalsvert :o)

Getur verið að þetta hafi verið pakkhús áður? Spyr vegna hleðsludyranna á loftinu :o)

Takk Begga. Gleiðlinsan er sko alveg að gera sig, mjög ánægður með hana. Ég held að þetta hafi verið pakkhús, hef einvhern tíma komið þarna inn, en skammarlega langt síðan ;o)

It's excellent to see such an old place. It reminds me of the ancient long-houses so common in Anglo-Saxon and Scandanavian parts, also Medieval farms. No doubt the sloping roof shed the snow easily and the short, sturdy walls kept the occupants safe. Great to see! :)

Thank you AS. This house is one of four buildings that form the oldest collection of Icelandic houses situated at the original location. There is a restaurant in one of them and a historian that takes care of the museum lives in another one :o)

Takk Ragga... og nei, vélin er ekki FF, alltof dýrt fyrir svona dellukall eins og mig. Ég bakkaði bara lengra frá húsinu til að ná þessari mynd á 20mm og minnka bjögunina ;o)
