The Bridge and the Cloudy Mountain

The Bridge and the Cloudy Mountain
I spotted this bridge when I was on top of Mt Ascutney, so I had to go find it. This is the Cornish-Windsor bridge crossing the Connecticut river between Vermont and New Hampshire. I was on the New Hampshire side aimed back at Mount Ascutney (with the cloud over the summit)

For those who are interested, this bridge was built in 1866 for $9000. This is the longest wooden bridge in the United States, and the longest two span covered bridge in the world. An interesting piece of history.
