You're kidding! Did you fell?

Yes, I stepped on a ladder to come down from the loft over the milking parlour. The concrete yard below had just been scraped and was covered with a film of sheep shit and water. The ladder slid away as though on ice and I came down, putting my arm through the rungs and landing on the ladder on my elbow. I posted the X rays. It was a pretty disastrous break and my arm will probably never be quite the same...

I'm so sorry to hear it Lawrence, I wish you speed recovery. My mother brake her arm twice, and doctors did pretty negative prognosis and even insisted on surgery, but she refused and did a lot exercises after the bone knit. Now her arm is just fine! Don't give up!

Thanks, Angela! I am certainly not giving up. The most annoying thing is that I must have bruised my ulnar nerve and the outside edge of my left hand is very numb, and suffering from "pins and needles". It happened only about 7 weeks ago and the surgeon put in lots of metalwork to strap the bones back together again; so it is good that I can use it at all.
