My first serious camera was An Agfa Isolette when I was a boy. I think mine had the f4.5 Agnar lens. Compur Shutter. Speeds from 25th to 500th and B. Lousy viewfinder, well made, compact when folded, decent negative size. I lusted after single lens reflexes, and rangefinder 35mm cameras.

Yes, the Isolettes are real nice folders !

Only problem they have are the pinhole prone shiny bellows :-)
Oh, and of course also the dreaded Agfa grease which tends to solify over the years.

Both these things can luckily be remedied quite easily.

Wonderful camera, wonderful shot! The Apotar really is a fine lens. The Solinar only a tick sharper. No need for perfect definition, though, when the "feel" is perfect.
