Island Harbour Sunset

Nothing too artistic this time... this one was just an experiment, as I was curious to see how well my newest DSLR would perform in very low light. It was almost a full hour past sunset when I snapped this from the shoreline in front of my Fogo Island (Newfoundland) home. Considering that I was shooting handheld at a very low shutter speed and a very high ISO 6400, I was quite pleased with the results; in fact was rather surprised to see that it even turned out at all, considering how dark it was at the tim…
