Yeah, those look a little old for a co-op. Probably went up in the 20s?

And which would fit right in with Interstate Power's addition of this town. Too bad the MN PUC only got into regulation of electric utilities in 1944 and that Alliant Energy (successor to Interstate Power) could care less about its own history. Otter Tail Power sold its Hendrum / Perley / Georgetown line to the coop around 1951 if I remember right.

It too often seems that us line geeks need to write our own history books. I've done much of my investigation by documenting pole tags and reading about utilities in newspaper articles.
