Looks like this KPF rack was remodeled when the line voltage was upgraded from 41.6kV to 69kV.

I'm not sure as to why this segment was upgraded - conversely, a line in the area that served a Baker Electric Coop sub was originally built as 69kV but today operates at 41.6kV!

Very cool setup. So they only double arm the KPF switches on 69kV?

It could be Otter Tail couldn't get their hands on an A-6 KPF switch so they ordered a Type U-6 instead. I've seen A-6 switches elsewhere on their system.
