Dayton Hollow Dam powerhouse
A closeup of the powerhouse adjacent to OTP's very first dam.

This was built to house three turbines, but only two were in place when it went online in April 1909 (serving Wahpeton, ND), and the third was installed in 1917. One of the two original 1909 turbines was retired in 1964.

Neat shot! Someday I'll have to take a few pictures of the old City Light and Power power plant in our town.

I tried to take a picture through the chain link fencing on the door there. There is some switchgear and you can just about make out the generators. The switchgear was all new, looked like it got a facelift when they redid the outgoing lines.
