I've known of this pole for a LONG time - finally decided to get a pic!

I'm thinking this was one of the very earliest 13.8kV circuits in town.

I bet it was a bit of a surprise alright!

It's not too often when I find equipment like that on multigrounded 13.8kV systems. Must've been some of NSP's earliest 13.8/7.9kV distribution from the early- to mid-50s, since I think those arresters weren't made until after 1953 or 1954.
