Minnesota Electric Light & Power Co. sub design

Minnesota Electric Light & Power Co. sub design
One of about 16 prints drawn up by the long gone Minnesota Electric Light & Power Co. showing various standards.

MN EL&P was defunct after 1926, having been bought up by Minnesota Northern Power Co. (predecessor of MDU) then the W. B. Foshay Co., then Interstate Power until 1944, and today forms Otter Tail Power's Bemidji, MN division.

The 33kV system remained active as late as the 1950s - but it has since been upgraded to 41.6kV and 69kV.

Do you know if any of the 33kV lines that were changed over to distribution?

They were either wholly replaced or rebuilt to 41.6kV - one possible survivor: www.ipernity.com/doc/ndlinegeek/18181953
