Finally a decent shot of this 2-pronged pothead. The voltage makes sense as the distribution system in nearby Riverdale was 2400V delta and not 4160V like I thought it was.

This is a neat little pole. I remember when you found it.

Typically on the old delta systems, they'd put a dummy cap on one of the three pothead terminals for single-phase risers like this. But I've seen these two-bushing units in catalogues before.

Isn't Riverdale the town that has the 15 kV class delta line feeding into a substation building?

I wonder where the 2400V delta at the dam comes from- maybe there is a transformer supplying some large pumps or equipment that also happens to power this.

That be the one. I suspect it's 13.8kV delta (generator voltage), but it becomes wye once it leaves the sub building, however.
