I had been concerned as to the fate of the triple-circuit 41.6kV line, but in the end, all Central Power did was simply retire the middle circuit in place. I doubt OTP will want to repurpose the now-idle circuit, so it will likely remain like this until such time as the status of the Max transmission sub changes (it still belongs to Central, but they have begun pursuing a transmission system independent of MDU / OTP).

Two possibilities: One, OTP buys the substation and eventually wrecks out the middle line or two, Central extends the currently idle line to Garrison to get McLean Electric's Garrison sub off the OTP system.
