An older 13.8kV line that clearly was 4160V originally; note the bad paint job on the L-M can. Also note that it originally had the neutral on the arm and one of a VERY FEW 13.8kV poles I know of with angle iron braces. I also get the feeling that the transformers were originally crossarm-hung (that may even be a remnant of a hanger on the L-M can).

I go by this line at least once a week on my daily commute (an alternate route I take to get around a busy intersection). I need to figure out how to get an overall shot of the lines in this area - the neutral actually diverges to a pole diagonally across the street then back over while the rest of the line continues on the same alignment.

André J.(Lineman80), Lewis Perkins, SW Ohio Lines, Power Lines and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

That pole there certainly has a lot of character!

Maybe you could try taking a video of this line to go with the "overall" shots if its perspective is tough to get at?

The left cutout looks odd. Did NSP use that style a lot?
