Looks like it's getting down to the end of the line....well l guess that pole lived a good long life at least.

It seems that Xcel is just going to replace the pole and not shift the branch to the 69kV pole ? They've had a warmer on the ground next to the short pole the last couple days.

They should shift the branch line over to the 69kV pole. I think the less of those short "stump" poles we have to look at, the better!

Took another look. They might not have a choice. The short pole lines up with the branch, the 69kV pole doesn't. Unless they plan to replace both with a new 69kV pole.

New short pole in place and the soon to be 13.8kV circuit transferred over; the old pole has been cut off above the muni lighting arm.

The only thing is, the toothpick arm has been replaced with a clamp-brace arm. I much prefer the toothpick one given a choice!

The muni circuit was changed over to duplex wire.
