Here's where the new 115kV line will angle towards the switch station portion of the West Sioux sub, but for now it will likely continue north towards the shelled-out remnant of the 69kV/4160V section (which is nothing more than a 69kV switching platform at this point).

Note the phase swap on the old distribution pole - that was carried over to the replacement circuit to the monopole. That was a holdover from tying the old WSF01 and WSF03 4160V circuits into the replacement WSF75 13.8kV circuit.

Judging by the look of that steel monopole, it does appear like they're planning to put the 13.8 on it. It'll be interesting to see how it gets hooked up.

The now "temporary" 69kV line has been terminated on the left (south) side and Xcel is pulling in new wire for the new 115kV segment. At least one conductor has already been pulled in, and both sides will be re-linked to the existing line soon.

The distribution line will follow once the 69kV is back in service, but I have a feeling that part of it may be built to 34.5kV standards.
