A quite interesting tap structure - but the light was failing fast when I found it! Went back for a retake several years later only to find this had gone in the Graveyard.

That is odd alright! I wonder what the story is with that busted crossarm on the right?

I suspect that there were a pair of KPF switches and one failed (given the sawn off pole), and since it was 'only' distribution, they decided to just take the switches out. It was too late to get a good look at this pole, but it SEEMS old enough that it could have been put up in 1936 (when OTP tapped the Kerkhoven-Pennock line to add a branch to Sunburg).

I really like the late evening lighting in this shot!
For some reason I wasn't able to view any photos on ipernity for three days. Anyone else had this problem?

One of my other contacts had a dickens of a time trying to upload anything, so it definitely had to have been a hiccup in the system.
