Laminated pole

Here's a good shot of a laminated pole that East River Electric is about to install on a 69kV line between Lennox and Beresford that they are rebuilding. The pole is currently sitting "face down" if you will. Seems the plates are also there to take up some of the side load and so eliminate the guy wires. The structure it's replacing is in the back...
