this isn't a really good angle to show the" don't damage my car door" phenomena, but the fact i saw two cars parked as such, boggles my mind.

i'm pretty sure this is an American phenomena, of parking your car, in two spaces to prevent people from parking next, to you and possibly leaving 'dings' on the doors of your car. But really it makes me want to call up some friends, so we can park around…
