365min-day 365

24 July 2009-
so here's my 365th video. What a tough, but ultimately creative project. I love the whole truth aspect, there's no angle or hiding what you look like on any given day, which can be a good and bad thing, if you have any insecurities. I was thinking i would go back and count how many videos, had music, how many I was at the studio pulling prints. But I'd probably number that wrong too...hahaha

also I just discovered my Mac can read avchd files from my Canon video camera, so I have 4 videos to edit from back in December and January. which I think maybe interesting because somewhere someone is having a hot summer, as opposed to here, where all we have been getting is rain with a day or two of sun here and there.

It's very difficult to stop making the videos, The day your number came up I was in NYC at B&H buying a flip video ultra HD 8 gig camera. The screen flaked out within a week, Another one is on its way here soon meanwhile I found a mino HD flip video camera in a pawnshop, Miss the GL1 canon, sold it in my alley b4 NYC. Glad you made it through. It's really very much like video boot camp.

this is very true, I still look at things, through my camera, in a moving video kind of way.
B&H is good about helping you out when you have a problem, as long as it doesn't fall on any major Jewish holiday. :) i have a friend that has a flip camera, and loves it.
too bad about the flaked out screen.

and I know I will be making more videos, I already am :)

the flip is cool, yep too bad about the screen but b&h sent free shipping through UPS via e-mail, Ironically I lost two flip video camera screens within a week of each other, but this could become a complex story if I detail how when mowing the lawn I must have scrunched the camera and subsequently bought a neopreme pouch for the camera I sent back before it's screen failed and then add to the story how my panasonic video camera was under a picnic table when a sudden rain storm came up and someone who I won't mention, thoughtfully grabbed my camera bag to save it from a dousing with out considering that possible the video camera on the top of the bag might not be securely placed and as such the screen is now cracked. Part of the reason for the new flip was my being heartbroken about the cracked screen on the panasonic, however the panasonic still works with the cracked screen as does the other flip with no screen at all, the panasonic is functional whereas the flip is complete black out, it might be fun to make videos with out a screen to create more of an aleatoric visual image, not that this isn't the usual case with or without screens, in any case, this could go on and on as I might talk about the cracked and fading screen in my,...

yeah maybe those details are best left out, when you return an item but would be very interesting in video :)

now my pawnshop HDmino flip isn't holding battery juice. Perhaps I'll bust out the SDmino I was nearly going to pop onto eBay. SD is good enough for the web. It'd be cool if there were a filter called cracked LCD in imovie.

i had that problem with an old 2nd hand leica d-lux P&S, the battery would not hold a charge for very long, so i would switch between the two lithium batteries I had for it. then one day i had the idea to search for a new battery by using the serial number on the old one, and I bought a new battery, that holds it's charge and then some. I can't believe it took me so long to figure that out...but it did :-/
