Als ich diese Tür sah, musste ich augenblicklich an fugo denken, weswegen ihm dies Bildwerk auch gewidmet sei. :-))

Die Übersetzung des Originaltitels dieser Tür macht mir wieder Probleme.
Google sagt:
"Der Athanor ist ein spezieller Ofen, der von den Alchemisten benutzt wurde. Der Name leitet sich aus dem arabischen Wort at-tannur für (Back)Ofen bzw. Wasserrohr ab."

Moest toch even weten wat die oven er nou mee te maken had. Dit heb ik gevonden:
L’Athanor dankt zijn naam aan de Alchemie. De athanor is de oven waarin de pure vlam het aardse lood in het spirituele goud omvormt.

ich widerspreche dir ja nur ungern, aber er hält definitiv eine pfeife in der linken hand. ... ob das ding in der rechten nun eine luftpumpe oder "keine luftpumpe" ist, sei dahingestellt. :-)
