Nice! A bit like Pamukkale in Turkey.

So this place used to be under the sea before, I guess. :-)

Micha says:
It was incredible Soepkipje : right at the middle of the andes, at around 4000 m high, 4000 salinas where poeple extract some salt since 1000 years. No tourist at all there, and u could walk in the whole spot by ur own...Colours were so impressive...Absolutely timeless...THX a lot

Soepkipjepro replies:
Wow ....no tourists!!! Yes the colours that impressed me the most (too). Superbly!!

(Thought I faved this one too, but apparently missed something :)

U faved and I thank u for that !
Indeed, compared to Machu Pichu which is a kind of very expensive ando-dyney, It was incredible to be there alone !

Can't understand/translate everything you two ( U2 for Micha :) are talking about ....but I don't mind (and overexposured or not).......still love this picture very much!!!! :-))
Posted 17 months ago. ( permalink )
Micha replies:
U understood the main point Soepkipje....Bigoode was saying that to his mind, mountains at the background were a bit to dark...And I answered, i couldn t do better because I had already lost some details with the salt area because it was a bit too "overexposured".
Anyway Thx again !

Micha replies:

salt in the mountain? strange!
Posted 17 months ago. ( permalink )
Micha replies:
Giacomo...at the top of one of the andes mounts, there is a salty warm spring : derivation, evaporation and salt appearition : human being genius. Is it understandable ?
