One hour painting.

At least 20 years after I held an actual, physical brush, I was challenged to start painting again. The ultimate challenge was creating a painting in a 1hr timespan, as well as getting comfortable with acrylic paint, as I was used to working in oilpaint. I had a blast and was pleasantly surprised as to what I accomplished in that one hour,..... Definitely more to come soon!

1hr painting

First painting made on my very own easle, with my very own paint and brushes. Allowed myself a little extra time as compensation for the time I lost picking of the loose hairs (brand new brushes seem to lose more than a few....)

Not a 1hr painting!;) Though failed in the attempt to complete a painting in one hour, I must say I'm somewhat pleased with the end result.

20x20

These are some of the works on 20x20cm canvasses I usually use to produce something out of the paint left over on the palet when a painting is done or I stop for a while.....
